Research

The Assistant Librarian is the main point of contact for art, architecture and archaeology-related research assistance and instruction needs (in addition to the School of Architecture librarian for architecture, design, and urban studies). SCHEDULE AN APPT (for PU affiliates only)

Library instruction may be tailored to a specific course with some advanced notice, and/or an online research guide may be requested. Frequently asked questions related to art research and using Marquand can be found in the Art FAQ research guide on the left, and there are many additional research guides available for specific courses, subjects, and for specific media. Subject specialist librarians in Firestone Library and elsewhere are also available, or one may chat with or text a librarian at specific hours.

One may limit a search in the library catalog to Marquand (includes Marquand holdings at ReCAP). One can EDIT SEARCH at the top to add a particular keyword(s). The results may be sorted by date, or title, or other. Additional collections may also be added under Holding Location.

Request Marquand books via the library catalog for delivery to the C Floor in Firestone, or alternatively request a scan.
