Printing masters

Printing Masters are microform negatives (film or fiche) produced in-house for preservation purposes from a Preservation Master.

They are always housed in FilmM, a location in the Microforms Dept.

Their use is restricted to making service copies for use in turn by patrons. Their value in the Fixed Field Generation is "b," for printing master.
