  • Rector's Aid Society Minutes

    The minute book of the Rector's Aid Society is 6.5 inches by 8 inches and about one
    hundred pages; only seventeen are used. It contains a list of the twenty members plus
    minutes of the monthly meetings, from 15 October 1867 to December 1868, taken by the
    student secretary. The minutes record reports of committees and the Rector, as well
    as the topic of the evening's discussion.

  • Ralph Barton Perry Papers

    The Ralph Barton Perry Papers consist of correspondence, speeches, clippings, and
    other materials documenting Ralph Barton Perry's life as an alumnus of the Class of
    1896. Nearly all of the documents in some way relate to Princeton. Typical topics
    discussed in correspondence include speeches that Perry gave at Princeton or
    contributed to the Princeton Alumni Weekly, as well as upcoming reunions and Barton's
    published work.

  • Quipfire! Records

    The records contain promotional material, performances and founding documents for Quipfire! Included are posters, programs, photograph albums, slides, a team hat and VHS recordings of three of the group's first four performances, as well as a promotional tape.

  • Pyne Honor Prize Records

    The collection documents the annual awarding of the Pyne Honor Prize from 1939-1960. Within each year's file is correspondence, biographical and academic information about the recipients, and award statements.

  • Pyne-Henry Collection

    The Pyne-Henry Collection is a diverse group of documents, letters and writings relating to Princeton University, covering an array of topics primarily concerning student life and administrative activities. The collection consists of letters, essays and orations, reports, memoranda, minutes, proclamations, accounts and class lists, and Trustee Minutes.

  • Progressive Review Subject File

    This collection contains flyers, various committee reports and minutes, proposals, clippings, correspondence, judicial proceedings, personal notes, a video, and ephemera. The materials in Series 1, Organizations and Individuals, and Series 2, General, are largely independent from the magazine itself. These records are a compilation from various organizations and people, most unaffiliated with the publication or operating in a different capacity. Series 3, Correspondence File of John G. Oakes, however, documents the founding and early years of the Progressive Review magazine.Organizations and individuals represented in this collection include those that opposed the Gulf War of 1991, those that rallied for Sexual Harassment/Assault/Advising Resources and Education (SHARE), and the Undergraduate Student Government. In some cases, activist causes rather than groups are included where it makes sense to do so; these include on-campus ROTC, on-campus recruitment by organizations with discriminatory hiring practices, and the University's alcohol policy.

  • Program in Women's Studies Records

    The collection consists of articles related to women's issues from the Daily Princetonian and other local publications, as well as clippings on other subjects such as University investments in South Africa. Also in the collection are promotional brochures about the program itself, programs from women's studies conferences, and bibliographies on research topics.

  • Program in Latin American Studies Records

    Consists of publications, event information, and other informational materials about the Program in Latin American Studies. Also included are the records of the Helen Doherty Lassen Fellowship, awarded annually to a student in the Program in Latin American Studies and video recordings of PLAS conferences and seminars from 1992-2001.

  • Program in Hellenic Studies Records

    The Program in Hellenic Studies Records document the activities and
    administration of the Program in Hellenic Studies from its founding in 1979
    through 2007. Included are records pertaining to the Program's many fellowship
    offerings and public programs, as well as subject files on topics related to the
    program and to Hellenic studies and culture in general. The records primarily
    consist of correspondence, fellowship applications, reports, and promotional

  • Program in Dance Records,

    The records primarily consist of photographs of dance at Princeton collected by Professor Ze'eva Cohen. Also included are DVDs \The Best of Princeton: Alumni Choreographer and Dancers in Concert\ and \40 Years of Dance at Princeton: A Tribute to Ze'eva Cohen\; as well as slides of Cohen's dance classes from the 1970s.
