Jennifer Hunter

Jen Hunter joined Princeton University Library in November 2018 and serves at the Head of Firestone General Service Operations. For the Library, she supervises access services, general reference services and tours, teaches library research workshops for the Princeton Writing Program, participates as a personal librarian, and is the liaison to the Novogratz Bridge Year Program. She collects for general reference, travel, and faculty publications.
In addition to her work as a librarian, Jen has a background as an academic writing instructor, and a marketing/advertising writer and web content strategist. She has a Bachelor of Arts in comparative literature from Rutgers University, Douglass College, a Master of Arts in English from Rutgers-Camden, and a Master of Library and Information Science From Rutgers School of Information.
As a first generation college student, she is passionate about higher education and its transformative effects. Her research interests include community and belongingness as an essential part of learning and affective approaches to librarianship and learning.
