An authority on Buddhist art and 19th-century woodblock books and prints, Nicole Fabricand-Person has a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, and a Ph.D. from Princeton University. Before returning to Princeton in 2008, Nicole taught Asian and Japanese art history. She now works to grow the general Japanese art collection at Marquand Library, acquires rare books dating from the 17th through 21st century, and writes about notable acquisitions for the Marquand Library blog.
