Maps and Geospatial Information Center Collection

The Maps and Geospatial Information Center Collection is located in the Lewis Library, Fine Hall Wing, A-FLoor.

The Center GIS computers are accessible to map and GIS users whenever the Lewis library is open. In order to use a GIS computer, a patron needs to show Princeton ID to a staff member at the Map and Geospatial Information Center desk.

The reference and consultant services for print maps and GIS are available only Monday through Friday:  9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

The Center provides access to geospatial data, digital map services and geographic information systems (GIS). In addition, the Center provides ongoing reference, research consultation and instruction to all levels of user experience in our facility or in your office or classroom.

The Center has a large-format color printer and scanner, and seven workstations with GIS and satellite image processing software packages. Faculty, students, staff and others in the Princeton University community are welcome to contact or visit the Center for additional information.
